Burning Rubber off Broadway!

So a couple of weekends ago I was attending to my urban fields around the Ranch, aka, raking and bagging leaves, cleaning up the yard. Obviously, this effort requires a trip to one of my more favorite destinations with in the friendly confines of Abq, the satellite dump near South Broadway..! It was a very sleepy Sunday for RBM, and after paying my 3 or so $'s to unload the 'Big Rig' and accomplishing my vast goal of the day and departing the dump; As I pulled away, a sign caught my eye, DRAG STRIP! Accompanied by an arrow pointing down this lonely dusty road, I swear off in the distance I saw Clint Eastwood on his horse near a large tumble weed.. Approaching the end of the line, I could hear the cars roaring down the strip, I turned the corner and laid my eyes upon the, "Albuquerque International Dragway", no joke.. To my surprise, there were over 100 cars rolling around or in the pits. Every type of car was in attendance- from those obnoxious Japanese attempt of a rally car, the ones that drive around town as loud and fast as possible to the next red light, yea those. The cool factor was redeemed by what you would imagine a drag car to be - Big tires, blowers and electric paint jobs! Must say, it was a nice find... Go check it out. http://www.abqdragway.com/

Ready... Set..
